Small Vessel Engineer Training Record Book DescriptionSmall Vessel Engineer Training Record Book - For those already in receipt of an action plan following the alternative route. This training record book is written by the MNTB and approved by the MCA. It will be required for trainee officers to progress toward an SV EOOW (less than 9000kW, less than 3000GT).This book must be provided by an MCA authorised training provider and must also be registered with that training provider. The book must be stamped and dated and a registration number supplied, which is then maintained by the issuing training provider administration team. After completing payment, you will need to send a copy of your LIA or Action Plan along with proof of payment to [email protected] You will then receive a the TRB and registration letter. Please do not use this service unless you are already in possession of an action plan and following the alternative route. Those who possess a TRB without registering with a training provider officially, will not be able to progress toward the Certificate of Competency.
